Totem was founded by outdoor enthusiasts Dan and Becky Humes in 2003 amidst the redwoods of the small north coast town of Trinidad, California. We bring together over 20 years of consumer product development and manufacturing experience, and have worked as product engineers for both large and small companies such as Rockshox Inc, Yakima Products and Fairchild Semiconductor.

In 2006, we migrated back to our Lake Michigan roots to the small harbor town of South Haven MI. We offer the type of hard work and dedication to our employees and customers that can only be found in a family business.
